But wait…what will you make?! Enter the charcuterie board.
The charcuterie board is the easiest party food ever. No, really. There’s so many great things about it. Number 1- it’s SO easy to make! Even those who aren’t too savvy in the kitchen can pass this one with flying colors because it doesn’t require any cooking. Not only is it easy to make, but it’s also incredibly easy to customize as well. Want to make a board for 3 people to snack on for a night in? You can. What about that bash with 50 pals? Yep, you can make it for that too. You can make a charcuterie board to feed as many or as little as you’d like. Additionally, you can adjust the the components of the board to suit both your and your guests’ palette.
Typically we like to use the following on our boards, but feel free to mix it up! It’s always good to have a wide selection.
Meats: Prosciutto, Salami, Ham, Saucisson, Chorizo
Cheeses: Brie, Mozzarella, Gouda, Goat, White Cheddar, Bleu, Pepperjack
Fruits: Strawberries, Grapes, Blackberries, Blueberries, Dried Figs, Dried Cranberries
Nuts: Cashews, Almonds, Pistachios
Extras: Jams, Olives, Pickles, Olive Oil, Honey
*Tip: Make sure to have a variety of cured and uncured meats + hard and soft cheeses.
Serve with the vehicle of your choice! A baguette, crackers, pita chips…
