In a time of uncertainty with the Coronavirus, we wanted to share a few tips from our friends at GE that will hopefully give you some peace of mind when it comes to the germs in your kitchen!
Sanitation cycles on your dishwasher
GE Appliances offers sanitization cycles across a range of dishwashers, washers and dryers. These cycles are designed to reduce 99% of bacteria found on dishes and home laundry, using a combination of high heat and water (or, in the case of dryers, simply high heat).
Look for a button that denotes this cycle, or a listing on the turn knob. If you have any questions about how to use these options or if your appliance has these modes available, you can check your use and care manual.
You can search for your specific use and care manual here!
