How do I find my serial number?
Typically, it is located on a sticker on the sides of the dishwasher door. If you cannot locate it, check the owner’s manual.
How much and/or what kind of detergent should I use in my dishwasher?
Use powder, liquid or tablet detergent as it is specifically made for automatic dishwashers.
My dishwasher will not run.
Ensure dishwasher has power by checking your circuit breaker. Make sure door is closed and properly latched, and all settings are selected.
My dishwasher has little or no water in it.
Ensure that water supply is open and unclogged. If that is not the problem, contact service.
The timer on my dishwasher is not advancing.
If your timer will not advance, open the dishwasher door and check for items that may be blocking the detergent cup.
My dishwasher does not drain the water out.
It is completely normal for some water to remain in the bottom of the dishwasher after completion. If there is an excessive amount of water left, the drain may be clogged. Some units have removable filters; make sure these are free of debris.
Why do the racksroll back into my dishwasher?
If the dishwasher door stays fully open and the racks in the dishwasher roll on or out by themselves, the dishwasher is not level.
My dishwasher is beeping and/or the lights are blinking.
If the door comes unlatched in the middle of a cycle, the beeping is an indicator to re-close the door and latch it.
The inside of my dishwasher is discolored or stained.
Stains on the interior of a dishwasher can be a build-up of minerals. This is a water condition and may re-appear after cleaning. Check user manual for cleaning instructions. Run an empty load using 4 cups of white vinegar.
My dishwasher has an odor.
Check for food particle residue on the tub bottom and remove them.
There is a white film / residue on my dishes.
The main reason for this is the use of too much detergent. Rinse out your dishwasher by running an empty load with 4 cups of distilled white vinegar. In the future, use less detergent; never fill the cup completely.
Refrigeration
Where do I find my serial number?
Typically, it is located on the inside wall of the refrigerator or freezer. If you cannot locate it, check the owner’s manual. There is water under the vegetable and fruit pans in my refrigerator. If water appears on the floor in front of your refrigerator or under your vegetable bins, it could be due to a clog in the defrost drain tube. We recommend contacting service.
I have frost accumulation on my freezer walls or floor.
Make sure the refrigerator isn’t being opened too often, and that items inside the unit are not resting on the rear wall.
How do I clean the inside of my refrigerator?
Wipe the refrigerator with a damp cloth, and dry with another cloth. For tough grime, use an even mixture of water and white distilled vinegar.
There is an odor in my refrigerator. What can I do?
Clean your refrigerator using a mixture of one tablespoon of baking soda to a quart of water. Make sure to remove any spoiled foods from the fridge.
My water dispenser is not working properly.
Make sure the water supply valve is turned on.
I need an owner’s manual for my refrigerator.

My freezer door pops open on my refrigerator.
It is not unusual on a two-door refrigerator for one door to pop open when the other door is being closed
The icemaker in my refrigerator is not working.
Check that the feeler arm on the icemaker is in the down position and is not blocked. If the icemaker does not have a feeler arm make sure the icemaker paddle is not blocked under the icemaker. Check to see if any ice is blocking any part of the dispenser.
How do I replace the water filter in my refrigerator?
The water filter cartridge location may vary by model. Carefully follow the instructions in your owner’s manual.
Ventilation
Where do I find my serial number?
Typically, it is located behind the filters on a white sticker. If you cannot locate it, check the owner’s manual.
How do I clean my range hood filters from grease?
Soak your filters in a mixture of hot water, soap, and baking soda for 10 minutes. Then scrub the filters lightly using a non- abrasive sponge. Rinse, and re-install. Keep in mind that this is not a safe technique to use with charcoal filters.
How often should charcoal hood filters be replaced?
We recommend changing your filters every 6 months to year, depending on your frequency of usage.
What do the CFM ratings mean?
CFM stands for Cubic Feet per Minute. The higher the number, the greater the amount of air that is exhausted using the Range Hood.
How much CFM do I need for my Range or Cook Top?
The minimum rate of 100 CFM of ventilation per 10,000 BTU is recommended.
How far can I run my ductwork to exhaust my hood?
The shorter, the better. We recommend the ducting use as many straight lines as possible.
Can I exhaust my hood into my attic instead of out the roof or wall?
You should never exhaust air into enclosed spaces as the humidity and grease collect in the space.
How high should I mount my hood above my stove?
Refer to the specific manufacturer, but the general range is 27-36 inches.
Grills
Where can I find the serial number?
Often, it is located between the grill head and the drip tray. If you cannot locate it, check the owner’s manual.
How long does it take the grill to preheat?
The length of time depends on the temperature desired, and keeping the grill lid closed. On average, it takes 10-15 minutes for the grill to reach optimum temperatures.
Do I need to “break in” my new gas grill?
We recommend turning the grill on the first time for 20-30 minutes with the lid closed to burn off any oils or dust.
What is the sear burner used for?
The sear burner is a burner equipped with a radiant plate that enhances temperature, allowing you to brown your food without loosing juices.
What is the best way to clean the exterior of my gas grill?
Use a stainless steel cleaner with a soft cloth to polish your grill, then wipe away with another dry cloth.
Dryers
Where do I find the serial number?
Usually, it’s located on the front area inside the door. If you cannot locate it, check the owner’s manual.
What do I do if my dryer runs, but does not heat?
Make sure you have the right timer selection, fabric setting, and temperature selection. Also make sure that lint filter is clear. Have your duct work professionally cleaned every 1-2 years.
Why is my dryer making a squeaking noise?
Some start-up squeak is normal; the sound should go away after the first few seconds of operation. If the sound continues, we recommend you contact service.
What do I do if my dryer drum isn’t turning?
Make sure dryer is not overloaded. Remove some of the clothing and try to start the dryer again.
Why doesn’t the automatic dry control shut off my dryer?
When a dryer timer is set on a Timed function, the timer knob will advance incrementally this is normal. When the dryer is set to an automatic cycle, the timer will advance sporadically.
Why doesn’t my electric dryer come supplied with a power cord?
Most electric dryer power cords are sold separately to ensure that they comply with all state and local wiring codes. These codes vary from state to state, and even, city to city. Check if you need a 3- or 4-prong cord.
How do I reverse the opening of my dryer door (so that it opens from right to left / left to right)?
Call your salesperson and arrange for a service call. Keep in mind that some dryers cannot be reversed. We advise that you notify us of your choice before delivery.
What do I do if my dryer or timer stops mid-cycle?
Check the power supply and make sure the front of the dryer is not blocked causing it to overheat.
Why won’t my dryer start?
Check that the dryer door is closed tightly and make sure that the cycle selection button is positioned on the desired temperature, fabric, and drying time. Ensure that the START button has been pressed completely.
Washers
Where do I find the serial number?
Check on the underside of the lid of the washer. If you cannot locate it, check the owner’s manual.
What water level setting should I use for my load size?
A small load is one that fills about a third of the washer, a medium load will fill between a third and a half, a large is between a half and two-thirds of the tub, and an extra large load will use up over two-thirds of the washer.
Why isn’t my washer spinning?
If your washer isn’t spinning, check to be sure the door is securely closed. For your safety, the washer will not spin if it’s open. You can also check to see whether the dispenser drawer is open, as it should be completely closed.
Why isn’t the water draining out of my washer?
Check the following: The drain hose. If it’s bent or knotted, straighten it to allow the water flow to the drain. Then check the drain itself. Be sure it’s clear and not clogged.
What do I do if my washer vibrates?
Make sure the washer is sitting level. If needed, adjust leveling legs per user manual.
What do I do if my washer leaks oil on to the floor?
Oil that leaks on the floor comes from the washer transmission. Contact manufacturer and schedule a service call.
My washer fills or drips when not turned on.
If the washer fills or drips water in to the tub even when it is not turned on the water valve on the back of your washer has failed. The valve needs to be replaced.
How can I keep my clothes from getting tangled and twisted?
Tangled, twisted or knotted clothes are usually a result of improper sorting of wash loads. Wash similar fabrics together and secure all zippers and buttons.
Why do I have a strange odor inside my washer?
Washer odors are usually caused by leaving the washer lid closed when not in use. When washer is not in use, leaving the lid open for air circulation will help prevent odor. Scrub the interior of the machine and gasket using a non-abrasive cleaner.
What do I do if my washer tub becomes stained or discolored?
Fill the tub to the highest water level with hot water, Pour 1 cup of chlorine bleach directly in the tub, Run through a regular cycle.

If you open the oven door, the serial number tag is located underneath the control panel. If you cannot locate it, check the owner’s manual.

What is the best way to clean the exterior of my wall oven?
Stainless steel finishes can be cleaned using a soft, non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner applied with a soft cloth. Always follow the direction of the grain, and for better results keep the cloth in continuous contact with the metal.
Can I put aluminum foil or a pan on the bottom of my oven to protect it from spills?
No. Do not place cookware, aluminum foil, a bake stone or any other material on the oven floor or side walls.
What is the best way to keep my oven clean?
The most important step in maintaining your oven is to wipe out the interior whenever spills occur. When the oven cools, clean any splatters and spills as soon as possible.
Do foods cook faster in convection modes and if so, how should I compensate?
Yes. A good rule of thumb is to drop the temperature 15-20 degrees and reduce cook time by 5 min for every 30 minutes of the original recipe’s directions.
What is the temperature probe used for?
The temperature probe measures the internal temperature of food, eliminating the need to open the oven and cutting into the food itself.
I see the broiler element but where is the bake element in the oven?
Most electric ovens have a hidden bake element under the bottom of the oven.
Can ranges be converted to LP gas?
Many ranges can be, but not all. Contact your salesperson to determine next steps, and to discuss a conversion kit.
Is the outside of the oven door safe to touch during self-clean?
Yes. Ovens are certified safe by the CSA certification agency which stipulates they do not reach “unsafe” temperatures on the outside.

No. Unfortunately, you cannot use either oven while self cleaning.
