Last week AllSouth loaded up its trucks and headed down to Orange Beach, Alabama for the World Food Championships at the Wharf! The World Food Championships is a five day event where 500 chefs and their teams from all over the world come and compete for the title of World Food Champion. We were amazed at how far people traveled for this event. We met people from Washington, California, Mexico, Canada and even Germany!
Each team could compete in one or multiple cooking categories. The categories were: steak, BBQ, burgers, seafood, bacon, dessert, recipe and chili. There was a World Food Champion for each category. There was so much excitement as each round came to a close and everyone watching always counted down the last 10 seconds together.
AllSouth partnered with KitchenAid for this event, who provided the ranges that all the chefs cooked on for the entirety of the event. AllSouth delivered and set up all of the ranges. We had a tent set up with KitchenAid with beautiful displays of their product. We also had some fantastic giveaways!
We gave away almost 5,000 spatulas, homemade KitchenAid shortbread cookies and TWO KitchenAid Stand Mixers PER DAY! Check out of some pictures from the event and a few of the winners below.
We were definitely blown away with how many people came and saw us while we were there! We met some fantastic people and hopefully future customers.
